Here's what we've been up to these last three months...

January

Mora was so good while I had to do Primary stuff at the church.

I just love the bond these two have. It warms my heart.

This girl LOVES to stand up...

and talk.

February

Teething started getting hardcore and Mora chewed on anything she could get in her mouth. Most of the time it ended up being her own fingers.

Here's a perspective shot. Mora is just over 4 months old.

We were all ready for the weather to warm up so we could spend some time out of the apartment.

Mora was entertaining herself while I got ready for the day.

Oh you know, just wrestling an elephant.

March

Mora's first horse ride was a success...

and that makes for one happy daddy.

Poor Sage just wanted to play and Mora wasn't quite sure about it.

Look who finally found her toes.

If you have ever spent much time around Mora you know she can concentrate pretty intensely on something.

Look at that big girl sitting in her high chair. Oh, I just love her cute face!

We're still working on smiling for the camera.

First family outing of the spring.

Enjoying the sun at Marley Creek.

Poor girl is all tuckered out.

Mora likes to eat her rice cereal. We're working on branching out and trying new things.

Practicing sitting up.

Another family outing...

this time to Mount Emily.

This is Mora's favorite toy. She has fallen asleep with it clutched tightly in her little hands many times.

This girl loves to have her thighs and feet tickled.

We figured out she LOVES avocados.

The Waite Girls.
Left to right, youngest to oldest: Seren, Stefka, Petra, and Springe.

Dan has been waiting for branding season all winter long!

For this man, there are few things that compare to riding a horse.

It was really neat to watch our friend use his well trained horse to separate the calves from their mamas. It made us both excited for the day when we can have our own nice horses.

It's tough work watching from the sidelines.

  1. Lots of things to say:
First, so glad the horse didn't lay down on sweet Mora.
Second, Mabin loved loved avocados, in fact he still does.
Third, Mora Dene is so cute. Can't wait until you live closer so our girls can play.

  2. She's growing up fast and will be walking before you know it! So he's still pretty tiny! I'm glad you take her to the mountains , on horses, etc! We thought we would get stuck in the mud at Marley Creek--glad you didn't!
