It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

I love Christmas time. I love Christmas decorations and parties, goodies and drinks. It was especially fun getting ready for Christmas now that Mora is in our lives. Not that she is old enough to know what is going on, but it was fun to think about and plan for when she will be old enough to be excited about Christmas.

We started a tradition of buying a Christmas dress to wear the Sunday before Christmas Day.
Here she is with Dad...
and here she is with Mom.
Sadly, we didn't get a picture all together.

This is our cute little tree. We couldn't have a live tree because our apartment complex doesn't allow it. Dan didn't think it was worth having a tree if it wasn't real. I was more willing, but I don't really like having a fake tree either. Another tradition is going to the woods and cutting down our own tree. Oh well, we'll just have to hold off on that tradition until we are out of apartment life.

We went to my parent's house for Christmas this year. It was loads of fun! All but one of my siblings were there. The grand kids acted out the story of Christ's birth. Little Mora Dene performed in her first play production as the Christ Child.
Kind and gentle Joseph.

My parents had an eventful year and three months because six grand babies were born in that time. It took us several tries, but we were able to get some decent photos where most of the kiddos are looking.
L-R: Oren, Aliyah, Reyland, Mora, and Mael. Note: Mael should have two dots above the e, but I can't figure out how to do that so just pretend they're there : )
Insert Ellis between Oren and Aliyah and you'll have all six new bambinos.
Mora and Mael will be best cousin/friends. Hopefully.

Mora will also have a best cousin/friend on the Hansen side.
Mora, Dan, Sage, and Clint.
Sage is only nine days older than Mora.
I foresee many photos of these two girlies together : )
